This is drawn for 's "Design a Death God" contest.

I'm not too good with words, but I'll attempt to BS, er, I mean, diligently explain the idea behind the Death God I've designed, and how it reflects my personality. >_>;

The first time I heard of a Death God was from Gundam Wing; the second time was from Yami no Matsuei. Well, they were all bishies, so my Shinigami is (hopefully) good looking too. I mean, if I had to become a shinigami, I'd still like to be good looking (wouldn't you? XD; )
I never heard the explanation to why Death Gods always carried the scythe. Thus, my shinigami carries a light, to guide souls to the underworld.
Other props:
Mystery key tied to hair. Because I like mysteries, and solving them too. 8D
Spiky bracelet thing and a knife for protection. 'Cause he doesn't wanna get hurt and neither do I. D:
Winged boots, so he can travel to places faster!

He has devil's horns, red eyes, and beastly hands. All these things are usually associated with evil and... bad'ness, like death! XD;;;
His hair is soft and wispy, kinda like his personality. 'Cause he's a very gentle Death God and doesn't like to see people die, but that's also why he was chosen to be a Death God (to counter all the crazy ones *coughRyukcough* LOL XD). However, he is a powerful one, so he has a (what I think) powerful pose. XD;

The picture has birds (creatures of the sky), fishies (of the water), and... er, beastly hands (of the Earth), because no living thing, whether from the sky, the water, or the Earth escapes death.

I really hope I'll win one of her letters of "RANDOM CRAYZEE SHIZ"! They sound so mysterious and wonderful!!! *_*
